Your wedding music is such a hugely important part of the Big Day! Not only will your favorite songs accompany you throughout this day’s biggest moments, but it will also help everyone else get in the mood, seize the fantastic beauty of the event, and celebrate together with you as well.

Of course, your wedding music playlist is extremely important – but it is equally important that you consider the volume of the music too. How to do that? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.

  • Talk to your venue manager first and foremost. Each wedding venue has their own rules when it comes to how loud they can be – and your venue might have specific parameters as well. This will be highly dependent on where the venue is located, the neighborhood, the legislation there, and so on – so it’s essential that you ask first.
  • It is also important to remember that not all venues are alike. The size, the openness, and even the architecture of a venue can have a huge influence on what is “loud” and what is “quiet” there. Make sure your DJ tests out different options to find the perfect balance.
  • When we say “perfect balance”, we actually mean it. Your music HAS TO BE loud enough to invite people to the dance floor, but it should be quiet enough to not be disturbing for the older guests and for those who simply want to socialize with other people.
